Can I refer to Saks as the smurf?

I mean, we can be a little personal against the millionaire players can't we?

As long as there's common respect amongst us posters, we shouldn't get offended if a favorite player is being called a little name. We can't be perfectly politically correct always. Won't that just take the fun out of it?

With all due respect, AB still wants to enjoy the odd heated debate

Im find with it. But i still am against Captain Cancer. Yes saku beat cancer and came back, that was years ago and im sure he along with many others would love to put that behind him. ...AB i know you do not use that term but i have heard it before and do not apprieciate it.

I guess I'm only five inches taller! As a hockey player, I'd be a smurf also.

A good debate in good humour is part of the fun. I am putting my dribble bib on And-o as I write...

I meant I was puuting the dribble bib on myself...not putting it on And-o.

Creepy image having And-o sitting beside me letting me put a dribble bib on him....

Is there such a thing as being too politically correct?

Yes, I find it offensive at times myself.

How about Saks being a "big smurf''? That should balance out and not be belittling to Saks.

If John is too politically correct than I want him in for PM. Look out Harper, here comes someone sharper

I'm 5'6 too, and I find no offense in the term "Smurf" since it is kind of endearing... and If I wasn't able to make fun of my height and my premature male pattern baldness, well then what jokes could I make.

Now, if I were also blue in the face more often, then maybe it would be a touch close to home...

Actually the term Smurf conjures memory of a bygone era I wanna soon forget.  I believe Habtastic brought it up.  Whem Koivu was playing with Petrov back in the 90's.
