I for one am not complaining. On the contrary, I'm rejoicing. So should we all. In fact, on this beautiful autumn day in the year of our Lord 2006 we should all be down on our knees thanking God for our good fortune. Not only are we all alive and hopefully well, Abby let in NINE goals in two games and we still came away with three points. Think about it. It's fantastic, wonderfull, in fact it's pretty darn close to miraculous. Another thing. I was looking at the stats from last nights game which by all accounts was pretty awfull. Any way, I noticed that Kovy and Sammy were both pluss three. When, if ever, was the last time that happened? This, of course leads me to the obvious question: what does every body think? Is this Kovy at centre thing a viable long term solution or just a despreate stop-gap measure? Another symptom of our problem, as Barry suggested? What are the results of the Gohabs jury?


As for MC, don't worry about her, she just recharging her batteries, and Brooky, I hope you noticed our four-nil demolishing of Bolton yesterday...

The Russian line with Kovy at centre should be kept together for now. What have we got to lose? If those guys can keep it together, then we have two great top lines (our first line had an off night, they will bounce back), and the pieces to make very good second and third lines.


With Bonk and Plekanec centring those two lines, Begin can go back to being a winger where he is most effective, and Lats can go back to less resposibilty, learn the game, throw his body around like he has been doing more of lately, and play with a more skilled centre than he has most of the season (whether on the 3rd or 4th line).


I do worry that outside of Pleks, none of the guys on those lines are really good puck carriers, but Bonk seems to be ok at it, even if he isn't the fastest guy.
