He looked really impressive in the shootout too.

Crap game by the Habs and we didn't deserve the point but I'll take it. On a positive note we seem to have a second line.... Let's hope it continues.

yea   no kidding   abby played good   can't blame him for that   and lets face it  it was a pretty entertaining  shootout.  now  lets just hope the REAL habs show up to the next game and not wait till halfway through the third period. got away with it this time  but we can't afford to do that again.   lets just hope carbo deals with this not showing up till late stuff they pulled

I think I would just play Abby to see what happens. We do need to start beating these eastern teams  Buffalo and Toronto. You cannot go anywhere unless you can beat them.

I agree, but I think you cannot keep a goalie hot playing him, sitting him, playing him etc. Let him go for a few games  Do you agree?????

Outshot, outplayed, outskated, outhit.  Where were our guys for most of the game...oh yeah...in our own zone!  However, gotta love Sammy tonight.  Maybe Kovalev took a look in Samsanov's mirror, because they finally seemed to click.

We stole a point, let's take it and move on.  Abby scared the crap out of me, but got his game face back on when needed.

NOTE TO OUR GUYS - STOP WITH THE DUMB FRICKIN' PENALTIES!

I count 3 straight mediocre-to-bad games. Not good.

On the upside: 2 straight excellent goaltending displays. And sometimes goaltending is the only thing that matters.

Yes we got a point when we didnt deserv it. We got outshot by 30 shots, in 80% of our games we don't more than 30 shots.  This trend has been happening for the past 5 years, if not longer.  What an awful game, the buds are supposed to be a cellar team.  I don't believe Sundin even had a point.  I bet if we add up the total shots we have from here on in compared to the shots against we are don't even come close to +30, guarantee were a -.    Good teams like Buffalo and Carolina wouldn't let this happen.  Just imagine it was the Sabres, Rangers, Sharks or Hurricanes against us, the shots would of been 85 to 20.  This game totally pisses me off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  After McCabe and Kaberle who do they have on the point, gotta be one most disappointing games of all time!

Like habgirl said, outshot, outhit, outeverythinged. Paul Maurice said it best after the game. He said that if Toronto failed to get the 2 points it would have been a total rip off and I agree. Toronto showed one thing last night. They have a ton more heart than the habs.

I watched bits of both Ottawa/Toronto games last week.  If they have a ton more heart, then they got a transplant Friday.
