Huet's next start will be his 5th...and And-o figures that outta be about enough for him to start clearing out some of the wrinkles in his game and get into a solid healthy routine!
Huet's rebounds seem to be the key indicator to his sharpness.
He'll always hit his knees, simply by the very nature of his style, but when he is 'on' And-o has noticed that dropping down does nothing to hurt him because his positioning is great (when he is on)!!!
...and Huet carved out his niche in Montreal versus the 'B's'!
And-o predicts that no more than two get past him tonight...if he in fact gets the start...and you can't ask for more than that!!!
Terrible bounce though...but that happens...and he got a few as well.
And-o just wishes that the guy wouldn't end-up so many rushes against with his arse rubbing the twine and his head directly underneath the crossbar...ya gotta have a bit of confidence in your 'D'!!!
I was disturbed to see that again the 1st and 3rd lines were by far the best, and they weren't exactly dominant. We need some more balance on this team. Not a pretty game. We got lucky.

Plouf, I don't see it the same way...isn't it splitting hairs to be disturbed to have the first and third lines dominating? In my opinion, isn't this one of the best scenarios?
There was a definite disciplanary meltdown...Kovy, Rivet (jeez Craig) and then Ninny with the holding penalty (NOW. THAT WAS A D'OH).
Huet found his legs tonight...and all of our lines were dominant in my opinion. Kovy, Rivet and and Ninny brain-cramps? YEP! However, Higgy, Koivu, Ryder, and finally MARKOV!
I guess I'm just concerned that it's the same lines that look good, and I wasn't seeing much improvement from the 2nd and 4th lines. Latendresse didn't seem to help, etc...I feel like it was our weakest win of the year.
Good to see Huet get it together though. The fact that we've been winning without stellar goaltending says something about the improvement of this team. Now if we do get stellar goaltending, watch out!
I agree with you plouf, I believe we were lucky to come away with a win, but I'll take it. Our d-man had a bad night coughing up pucks all night, which led to a goal and other scoring oppurtunities. Probably Komi's worse game of the year, way too many give aways. Getting outshot again is going to be a problem down the road, if we don't fix that trend
