I was great to watch the game yesterday and see Montreal come back and pelt Theo with 8 goals.  Maybe Abby should have flipped the puck to the Colorado bench after the win :)

Yep you are right. It is getting very old very fast. I give him credit in one respect. He could have begged off Saturday night and let the other goalie play. That would have been the easy way out. Fake an injury or something. But to his credit he played and faced the media.

Just curious... I heard on the Montreal news that he didn't face the media & just took off after Saturday's game to avoid them... Do you know when was he interviewed & by whom? I'd like to read it.

I don't know who interviewed him in print but I was watching the game on NHL Center Ice and he did 5-10 minutes worth of live interviews after the game on the Av's channel. I think it's called Elevation or something like that. He dealt with all the questions in a pretty gracious manner from what I saw. All I know is that the last time a goalie took a shelling like that in Montreal......Patrick Roy left town......

MC- I saw him on NHL Center Ice which must have been the same interview Pert saw. I did not see anything in print though. I can speak from personal experience that sometimes it is best to let things die down a bit before you give an interview. I can imagine that after being booed and Theoed all night that anything that came out of your mouth after that would not be positive. He and Breezer had been told by the Avs PR guy to say very little after the game fo rfear of making a bad situation worse.

Theodore spoke briefly to a few reporters after the getting shelled for eight goals but he quickly disappeared. Brisebois walked past a horde of media representatives claiming he had been told to do so by the team's PR representative, Jean Martineau. Sportsnet.com

If anyone has a clip orlink to the interview.. I'd love to see it.

Saturday's game was bittersweet for me. I felt soo bad for Theo but in turn.... he was our competition & was glad to be at a game with an 8 goal win.

Hey I agree MC. He is on the opposition now. And he has said a few things that have not endeared him to the fans hearts. I guess I tend to remember the days where everyone felt that he could walk on water and worshipped him.

BUT WHAT IS THE EXCUSE FOR BOOING BREEZER!! He did nothing but say positive things when he left the habs and was not re-signed by the team..not HIS choice! He wanted to stay.(he was classy to the end). What is the "fans" excuse for booing Brisebois in what was quite possibly his last game ever in Montreal? There is ZERO excuse. Much has been said about Bob Gainey having a hard time attracting players to Montreal. What do people think will be the attarction after a showing like that? Yepp..the UFA's should be lining up to play here now.

well the whole booing thing is a little dissapointing  every team will have games that the fans should not be proud of them selves   personaly i would have no time to boo with all the nail biting and excessive cheering  i would have done  for get whos on the other team and remember who on ours with all the booing andn taunting they did i hope they were able to notice the preformance OUR players provided. one of the first games where we had scoring from everywhere! its that kind of balanced attack that'll win us games.  Theo should be a non-issue.
