Noticed with all the sports writers stating that Sabres would trade Biron before last trade deadline or in this off season that it has yet to happen. Sabres realized they needed a quality back-up to take the load off Miller and as insurance. This team is for real from the net out.
We also are amongst the teams with a good one-two punch in net. Sharks and Ducks also are teams that I can think of with two quality goalies.
Remember when Giguere was cold in the playoffs, Ducks had the big Russian goalie(forget his name) that came in and was solid.
I quarentee the teams that rely on two good goalies will make the playoffs. After that, if their designated number one doesn't start well in the playoffs, it's a whole lot less of a gamble to go with number two. Not the same delema other teams have.
