Modano is no more elite in the ability-smarts-hockey sense-skills department than Koivu. He's just more of a physical specimen.
I think Ribeiro needed a change of scenery. That's all.
Ribs is the same player he was here. He'll get his 50-60 points because he has the skill to feed players. He'll do nothing in games that actually count and when the playoffs come, expect zero out of him.
No big surprises here. He had some 3 pt games as a Hab too...
