Johnson seems to have something about him ,certainly,but I'm sure Samsonov will begin to fire.As has been said often enough already he might just need off the Kovalev line.

I like both Sammy & Johnny... I'm just gonna give it more time to see what happens with their game before I critique 'em.

I think the Johnson for Zednik trade was a steal from day 1! And what is Zednik doing with the Caps these days? he can't even play with Ovy.

Very true, Mario. Johnson has much more upside than Zednik does. Let's not all forget the great things Zed did while he was here, but it was time to move on and Johnson more than fills his skates. His work ethic is extremely impressive which is a change from Zednik, and that's probably what Gainey liked most about him.

We'll see how he performs this year, but so far I'm liking what I'm seeing.
