Since Koivu and Begin are the two centres we don't have to worry about, I thought Bonk & Plekanec have both played very well - especially in the Toronto game.


Plekanec has really taken his opportunity and run with it.


I still think we should sign Jason Allison though.  He put up 60 points in 66 games, he'd be great on the 2nd PP unit, and give us a big strong presence down the middle.

I think Allison would be a good addition to the team because of his size and he has pretty soft hands for a big guy. He sure would look nice standing in front of the opposing teams goalie on the PP. The one thing that scares me is his cement filled skates on the back check. If he had a bit more speed he would be a very dangerous player on any team and as an overall assesment I think he could help us out. Problem is that we are back to who is going to be the pressbox boy on certain nights. I'm quite sure it would be Latendresse and that would be a double edged sword. Lats needs to get as much ice time as possible and sitting in the pressbox isn't going to help his game any.......

Allison benifited from ALOT of 1st pass assists last year meaning when a goal is scored =he was the one who passed it to the person who then passed it to the person who scored. WHY is that you ask? BECAUSE JASON ALLISON HAS CEMENT FEET!!! This guy would do terrible 5-5 on our team because he cannot keep up on our team. You see how souray is out there!! you want another one of him? Allison is good no doubt, but there is MUCH better out there. Forget Allison

ARE YOU CRAZY. Allison would slow this team up. He can't skate. He would not be able to keep up with any of our lines. He would only be good for the powerplay. I think Daze is a better gamble then Allison
