I'm sorry too, someone needs to point out to him that his bonehead moves costs us to many games. Yep, his powerplay contribution is appreciated when it's in the offensive end, but gawd, he costs us in the defensive end. Yep Traverse is a GREAT guy too. Souray makes guys like Briere/Spezza et al look so good, he should be getting a percentage of their contract money.

Anyone else not miss Ribs?

Any more doubts about Koivu? The poopers-on-Koivu seem really quiet today...

The Hbas will easily be 1 or 2 in the division IF they can play with the intesity they did vs BUF last night. 3 lines played good or great.

Koivu's play last night was everywhere as equal or better than Briere's who makes more than him now.

I hate Briere!!!.... I've been to many Habs games @ the HSBC & have never noticed 'til last night how much he cries over every-little-thing. I know it was his B/day & all but..... come on!!!!

Maybe he'll get a huge paycheck doin' Huggies or Pampers commercials.

Yep agree with most of whats said!!

Huet played great!

KHR line spoke for themselves!! especially on PP

Kovy looked out of sorts, missed an all alone chance in front and coughed it up a lot!!

Sammy had spurts but never had anywhere to go with the puck

plecks missed some great finishes

Rivet was hung out a couple times by Souray(who in my opinion was the worst player on the ice for both teams)I think Souray needs to be paired with someone faster ,maybe dandy!!

other D's played as expected, like to see a little more physical but buffalo is fast and slippery!!

PP was good PK was great, just one defensive lapse on briere's shorty but I think after the long delay everyone was a bit confused as to what was goin on!! I know I was!!!

And one last analysis we need our own TV station Habs TV cause im sick and tired of pro leaf announcers and panel discussing a totally different game than im watching!!!

Souray should be the one to say sorry...cause he was! I hate to question Carbo on game #1 but why is Souray even out there in the last minute? Koivu's line looked great , Kovy's line will be better and I thought Bonk's line didn't look bad either. I'd say Bonk was moving better than most any time last year. All I heard from those bone-heads (Healey) on TSN (Toronto sports Net) was how can those Habs skate with these Sabres? I saw 2 fast teams out there. We skate like that in T.O and we will have there cement-footed D-men looking worse than Souray!

Last night during Carbos time out i was sitting there chatting with my buddy, he asked what 5 i would have on the ice in the final mnute. I said Begin-Koivu-Higgins with Dandenault and Komi ( by the way the were plaing last night. Komi is MUICH more physical and i have alot more confidence in him and dandenault is fast and could KEEP UP on a rush with buffalo coming in. SOOOO many people beat souray on the outside yesterday, they WILL notcie it on the tapes today and im SURE souray will have his head hanging low. BUT then again not EVERY team is as fast as Buffalo! Souray WILL have better games, but we need to be MORE careful when we are playing teams like Buffalo. Huet will not be sparkling every night ( i BARELY look at last nights 4 goals allowed as 4 goals!...i still see it as 2

Sourey may have looked bad but that big shot can erase some of his bad mistakes,I get pissed at him to but when he's on the point the percentages of getting a goal go up,as far as him making mistakes we have "HUET" enough said..........I'll say it again if abby plays tonight against THE LAFFS

he'll make more than sourey will ever make and then that will be more costly

I actually did miss Ribs. The second line could have used his creativity. Pleks looked lost. I think a lot of people will realize this season that Ribs didn't do such a bad job on the second line. Centering for Kovy isn't all that glamourous.

Regardless, Koivu has always been the man. Even when critisized, people still knew he was all heart. He works harder than anyone on the Habs with maybe Begin as the exception.

johab i agree with most of your post except rivet . everyone is quick to blame sourey on the last 2 goals but rivet was on the ice too. on briers goal he was to far away from sourey , the play was on soureys side but rivet was to far over to his side of the ice and couldnt support sourey . and on the tieing goal brier goes by rivet along the boards , if rivet slams ,bumps , trips , slashes , beheads him as they get over the line ,we win the game but rivet doesnt touch him and allows him to take the puck to the corner behind the net ,tie game . now others contributed to this loss but to blame sourey alone is not fair .
