I was at the 5-1 Habs loss on Friday night at the ACC. Some observations I made were...
- Riberio has to go (I think I mention this in every post). I've never seen a player with such little heart when he plays, be so arrogant in pre-game warmup. I wanted to be sick watching this guy skate around in pre-game with the hair all slicked back and starring at everybody in the crowd to see who was watching.
- Latendresse is not NHL ready away from the puck. He's lost in his own zone. Although, he certainly has the tools to be a special player for Montreal in the years to come.
- Steve Begin slid to block a shot when the score was 5-1...what a beauty this guy is.
- Aaron Downy was a much better skater then I expected.

My God! In your other post you tell everyone not to bash and understand that its only preseason and lots of players dont try yet then you bash Ribeiro who was by far the best player on his line on Friday. I even saw him making and taking hits to make plays. I'm not a fan of Ribeiro but he worked really hard in the offseason on speed and strengh training and if you ask me its payed off.

Exactly! Ribs will be the fall guy if that line doesn't produce and it's already starting. Boot the lesser paid player for not carrying that line on friday night.
If you read the post, you'll notice I didn't mention anything about his play on Friday night (which by the way wasn't all that great).
It was his attitude. Guys like Rivet, Koivu, Souray, Begin, must want to pound this punk. He is so ARROGANT in the pregame skate - right from the Terrell Owens "look at me, look at me" play book. The guy is a joke.
