There was absolutely nothing to be gained from sitting back and leaving everyone wondering any longer about ‘the eye’…and Saku did not!


 


In fact, he laced on his blades…buckled his chin-strap…and took his place for the opening face-off!!!


 


Putting an end to this latest saga was essential…and it sets a positive tone for the ‘rooks’ and the rest of training camp.  Now the team can move-on!!! 


 


Good for Saku…let’s see him do it another 82 times in the regular season!!!


 

Now – how can the Habs stop getting outshot every night?
