As far as I am concerened, at this stage in his career he will be more effective with a bit less playing time plus time on the PP. He has been through a ton of punishment in his career and he will be a better player with a bit of rest and less responsibility. Having said that, as far as I am concerened, the job is his until someone on that team shows an ability or willingness to take it away or Gainey aquires one. Name someone on that team who has stepped up to take the job? Ribs? Uhmmm no..not yet. Bonk? Keep going....

well said barry , saks is a great number 2 center and a good number 1 center . is there better yes , is there worse yes ?
