What would happen to GOHABS without Mario???

And-o had this absolutely horrible thought today while the board was temporarily 'out of service' (it may have been a problem at And-o's end).


Mario does have arrangements that protect GOHABS as the 'Mecca' of 'Habdom'?...right?...gang?...anyone?


...what would happen if suddenly GOHABBERS lost touch with one another! 


All And-o would have would be a list of 'nicknames', 'hometowns' and memorized 'images' of several 'regulars'!!!  This worries And-o greatly! 


In fact, And-o fears the mortality of not only his own 'persona'...but those of all GOHABBERS...and Habdom itself!!!


...tell And-o that Mario has a 'legacy torch' that can/would somehow be passed so that one day maybe...just maybe...'And-o Jr' (as yet to be conceived) might debate the merits of the Captaincy with 'Johnny Jr.'...or 'Johab II'!!!?????????

I often wished I could spend more time devoted to gohabs.com and make it even better.   With a full time position, and now with my manager/director recovering from surgery, and me working on three concurrent web design projects, as well as venturing into selling tickets on the site, where does all the time go LOL???


With hockey starting in a month i hope to get my schedule back on track.


True story .... about 5 years ago I contemplated giving up gohabs.com.  Suffice to say, I'm still in it, now into my 11th year!!!!!

Wow! I didn't know it had been around so long! I joined about 3.5 years ago and have really enjoyed my time here... thanks for keeping 'er going, Mario!

 When I'm totally bored, my humour goes down the tubes...sorry And-o!


 All jokes aside though, if not for this site, I would be pulling my hair out waiting for the puck to drop. This board Rocks and more so this past season as we continue to meet many new posters.


 Job well done Mario. I can appreciate the dedication it takes especially with many other tasks on your plate!

11 years, wow   i have only been on here for 3 or 4 years (off and on i guess since i usually read more that i post)  has anyone here been with us since the beginning?   anyone here been around for all 11 years   i dunno if there was a forum right away   but it was obviously a web site.

I think I've been around for about 6...I wonder, who among us has been around the longest?  I seem to recall that Johab, Nil, Normie, Mrs. Hab, West Coast Habs Fan, And-O and AB were here before me....
