Just so that people know, there are only 8 more spots open for the league, after that, I cannot add anymore.

Also, for those whom have joined, I added a waiver period, it'll be form September 25th, through October 2nd inclusive. From there, if you ended up getting a player you absolutely did NOT want, you can dump him, and take on another player, I'll allow trades BEFORE the season starts in that period aswell. However, as commish, I can veto any trades I feel are there to 'stack' a team. Although I don't think I'll have the problemw with you guys, I just needed to mention it.

Jay, this is my last request to try as see if we could instead have a live draft for the pool. Im sure there is a time we could figure out that we can all sit down and have the draft ( it doesnt take long )

Id rather a live draft because it is actually the person who decides who they take, not the computer. Sure you can pre-rank your players but you only get the player you want if hes available. So really, your getting players depending on what OTHER people take. And it then really isnt MY pool team. Just more or less what i was handed.

Does anyone else agree that a live draft would be better?

difference is Jay, with the live draft you can see whats left and base your picks on that. I mean, imagine how crappy drafts would be in the NHL if they just wrote down a list of players they would like and handed it in and then whatever they got they got and thats it thats all. I personally feel that a pool can be one simply by the drafting. A few steals here and there and your team can easily have 2-3 more 70+ pt guys than another team. What fun is there in handing in a list of players and being dealt a small portion of them. If its going to be pick your players and whatever you get is what you get with no chance of changing them ( because remember, once all the players on your pre-draft list are gone, they select right from yahoo's rankings and personally i think their rankings suck. I do not have time to rank my players ( all 200+ of them ) in order to suit the auto draft format. And because of that, it technically ISNT my team is it? You said NO BENCH, NO TRADE. The players you get are always in use, you pick, you keep.  Whos picking? The computer or us? honestly Jay, its called an auto pick because the computer selects. The team i get from the auto pick i guarentee will have 1 player who i would actually pick, and even that is arguable. For that to even happen, id have to have first over-all pick.

Im ranting, and really to the wrong person. This is, a LIVE DRAFT is mandetory for this pool to even have ANY sort of MY TEAM feeling. Honestly, would you let someone do your pool picks for you? Neither would i. You can argue this until the cows come home. But difference is, in this pool, Ovechkin, Crosby, Brodeur, Thornton. They are only there once! In pools where you can "pick " your players and you keep them all year no trades or waiver/free agents. You can all pick ovechkin, so if he goes down, it effects EVERYONE. Not just the one who picks him, keeping the grounds fair. How can someone keep competition alive if half his team ( and only his team ) is down with injuries?? Maybe im wrong and im over reacting, but i must blame my competetive state of mind. When i join something that is anything competetive, i play to win and will take it reasonably serious. I will not let it get the best of me, but if i feel i am limited to an unreasonable extent. Im not going to sit here "a la zip".

So, is there a time, weekdays/weekend that the majority of you are available? It will take 45m-1h max considering there are only 14 players /team and i think only 10 of us playing. The drafting session is EXTEREMLY easy, you sit and wait your turn to draft, ALL the available players are listed infront of you ...all you have to do is click their name and click draft when its your turn and thats it. a brain dead monkey could do it. SO...i will go out and say that monday wednesday thursday after 6:45pm and weekends are good for me for a draft.

Is tomorrow at say 8 ok? for those of you in the draft? if not post times you are available and we will try to work things out. If nothing works out, tough luck for me, i guess ill have to sit here and take the players that are given to me.
