NHL Hall of Famer Dickie Moore has been seriously injured in a car accident, reported the Montreal Gazette on Wednesday.
The 75-year-old Montreal Canadiens Hall of Fame member, suffered neck, spine and rib injuries when his car was hit by a truck this past Sunday. He was trapped in the car for 45 minutes before rescue.
Moore spent parts of 14 seasons in the NHL, mostly with the Canadiens but also skated for the Toronto Maple Leafs and St. Louis Blues. He won six Stanley Cups as a member of the Canadiens and the team retired the No. 12, worn by both Moore and Yvan Cournoyer, last season.
The left winger played 719 regular season games, scoring 261 goals and 608 points.
