TSN.ca Staff 8/30/2006 3:47:55 AM Dickie Moore NHL Hall of Famer Dickie Moore has been seriously injured in a car accident, reported the Montreal Gazette on Wednesday. The 75-year-old Montreal Canadiens Hall of Fame member, suffered neck, spine and rib injuries when his car was hit by a truck this past Sunday. He was trapped in the car for 45 minutes before rescue. Moore spent parts of 14 seasons in the NHL, mostly with the Canadiens but also skated for the Toronto Maple Leafs and St. Louis Blues. He won six Stanley Cups as a member of the Canadiens and the team retired the No. 12, worn by both Moore and Yvan Cournoyer, last season. The good news is that his condition has now stabilized and he should be released from hospital in a few days. __________________
