Most exciting Hab team post 1993?
Permalink Closed

I would have to say that last year's team was pretty exciting to watch.  I remember many games that we would come from behind when trailing after 1 or 2 periods.

I also thought the shootout kept me in tune with the outcome. (When else would I have cheered for Dagenais?) I think it was the first year that the team was as balanced in scoring in a long time.

...remember the year that Trent Cleary, Craig Darby and Juha Lind were all battling it out for a regular spot in the line-up???  Ahhh, those were the days!!!

That was also the year that Saku Koivu and Benoit Brunet (aka...the porcelain twins) helped the Habs aspire to new hights in terms of man games lost due to injury.

Personally, i really liked the team that got to the playoffs the year Saku was coming back from Cancer, probably my favorite year ( came back from a 3-1 deficite in the playoffs ) Wow...

Cripes you guys...now each season that passes is getting associated with a 'Saku Saga'!

Let's see...there was the 'Knee Season I'...then the sequel 'Knee Season II'...then the 'Cancer Season'...then the 'Retina Season'.  What next?!?!?  Too much!

(C'mon Chipper and Higgins!!!  End this!)

Yeah, what a Grade A jerk for being injured like that!  Not a team player at all!  No consideration for others!  What a bastard!

yeah, and I'm sure he's planned every single one of those injuries. He purposely got cancer a few years back!!! Oh and in Game 3, Justin Williams didn't hit Koivu in the eye with his stick, koivu grabbed Williams' stick, and stabbed HIMSELF with it in the face!!!! Come on koivu! God damn, what a SOB that number 11 is...yet....dispite everything he goes through, HE STILL WANTS TO PLAY FOR THE HABS!!!!!!!!!!
