lol.. I love the Newfie accent. My father (100% Newfie born & raised, he even works on the boats) is the stereotypical Newfie. I mean... he can drink like no other & every single "Newfanese" saying comes out of him with every sentence he utters.
First time ripple met my dad, he tried to keep up with him beer for beer... ripple lost after beer #2... After a while (& a few beers) ripple couldn't understand a word he was sayin'... & he was speakin' English. He could understand the first couple of words..... but once he lost one word... the rest just blurred
All kidding aside there is no nicer place in the world (except maybe mid January lol) than Newfoundland. The nicest people you could ever meet and George Street in St Johns has the best bars in the world. ....not that there's anything wrong with that.

They all welcome anybody into their homes like they were family..... with open arms. Lucky for me... I have LOTS of family out there. (Maiden name is Harvey).... No need for hotels or restaurants when we're there, they'd be offended if we stayed/ate elsewhere.
Newfies KNOW how to have a good time. All the singin', drinkin' & eatin' going on..... definitely feels like home
lol, this reminds me of when I started my site awhile back. We had people from all over the place, and everyone's place was the best (which is great, and nothing wrong with loving where you are). I'm happy to see that everyone loves where they are from
