I say Boston    Bergeron  Savard and Chara will help big time. I know I have harped on this a lot lately, but its mu gut feeling they will be doing better than last year. It was in the local papers today that they are not done deal;ing either. It will have to be a trade because there is no cap room left for them

Ya there was an article today about Thomas and Toivonen fighting for the #1 spot now that Raycroft is gone

they will be better for sure , but they couldnt be much worse. if they get goaltending they will fight for a playoff spot .

I say Pittsburgh - they have more room to get better, and with the kids a year older and better coaching (and better team chemistry), I look to them to make a run for a playoff spot.


Then again, I might be full of it.

I say Boston as well because they addressed KEY weaknesses. But the biggest difference will be behind the bench. Dave Lewis is a proven winner and no nonsense kinda guy from Detroit. You do not win Stanley Cups by accident as a coach.
