Who Will Make the Most Noise?
Permalink Closed

Every year one (maybe 2) players gets the most attention. It usually transforms into a soap opera, with the help of our mild-mannered montreal media.

Last year it was Theo that made the most noise and he ended up getting traded. Who will it be this year? Ribeiro? Souray? Ryder? You all know someone will come out of the wood work...Who will it be boys and girls?

Ribeiro hands down. With the linemates he has, he is under ALOT of pressure to preform and preform well. we NEED him to be a #1 or #2 center ( depending on how saku is ) And if he cant preform, the media will be ALL over him.

Saku Koivu, who will score a career-high 25 goals and 85 points, and win the Masterton Trophy.

Because of his perseverence in coming back from a career-threatening injury, after everything else he's gone through in recent years.

Nil'd...go get yourself a 6/49 ticket for tonight's big draw...because that ticket and your prediction above have similar odds for success!

...but And-o hopes Saku adopts the "Missouri" approach this season...as in, "SHOW ME"!!!

I'm running down to the drug store now, Big Guy.

It's not that far fetched...Saks has had close to 60 assists before. Throw in 20 or so goals and there you have it.  The key is to get big time minutes on the PP.

In any case, we all know Saks will never be top 10 in points and I'm sure BG is counting on Saks to be a solid 2-way player for the remainder of his carreer.

Huet without a doubt, either he will flop, and be the favorite for boo-birds. Or he will continue to improve and shut the doubter's mouths.

I don't mean that in a bad way, either.

(Not that there's anything wrong with that)

I'm going to go with Aebischer for making the most noise. He's probably going to pressure Huet for ice time to
1: Either prove he's worthy of being number 1, or
2: Force Gainey to trade him.

If he gets on top of his game, I can see this starting quite a mess.
