That we offered Perezhogin, Markov and a first round pick to San jose for Patrick Marleau...... I almost crashed when i heard such a heart wrenching news..... If gainey pulls this off, its a big no-no-- Edited by Saku11 at 21:58, 2006-07-25
We would of really been toast at D without Markov but I do like Marleau! He would be a great fit!

Hey Saku11...you had better get a grip onto that steering wheel...because decent centremen who can get their own glass of water (especially without a stool) cost plenty!
Why on Earth did San Jose turn that offer down though...especially with JUMBO and Mark Bell signed!?!?!??!! And-o doesn't believe that!!!
San Jose's defense is garbage and I am sure they, like most teams, would love Markov, but there is no way Gainey offers up our only true puck-mover and doesn't get one back in return. That deal is also too heavily favoured, talent wise, for San Jose. No way that is legit.

I would do it if it was Perezogin, Markov, 1st rounder, and Bonk for Marleau and Hannan
