I would have loved to see Nolan in Montreal with Carbo and Jarvis. Maybe Wang will have another brain fart and fire him also then the Habs can snatch him up. I seriously don't see Ted staying long on Long Island if the team is as messed up as it looks like they will be so I'll repeat myself.....he sure would look good behind the Habs bench..........

The only problem with that scenario is that Nolan has been ademant that he will not be an assistant coach in the NHL. He has been offered assistant jobs many times and turned them down. It is shame that Nolan is in that mess because in my opinion, the guy is the best coach in the league right now.

I agree that it is shame to see him in the situation that he is in now. With the right team and ownership this guy could put together a serious cup contender in a couple of seasons with no problem.
