There's so much to see about Montreal that Ballets aren't really worth it.  yeah we can go to one on my fav hangouts, in the heart of the club action scene and minutes away from the Bell Centre; Hurley's irish Pub.  Don't worry, we have plenty of time to sort out a meeting point and places to go to.

I know what your minds eye sees me as... but you couldn't be further from the truth. I even offered to go to the ballets with him while in Montreal & he said "naaa, I'm not into that.... you know that". I won't lie & say I'm not happy about it.... it's amazing to hear that I'm enough for him.


And as for the "I won't carry you back to the hotel" comment..... I MEAN THAT!!!! lol


Last weekend we attended a lesbian wedding (not sure why I had to tell ya that part lol) which had an open bar.... needless to say, ripple was cut off by the bartender before midnight due to the fact he threw back a min. of 10 double scotches within a 3 hour span (not including all the wine). Now I'm not much of a girl... I'm 5'4" & less than 125lbs (on a good day ) Try carrying a 230lb drunk guy, who reeks of Scotch & keeps yelling "you know... I'z lovez you baby... now where'z my bucket?" in your ear the whole way home..... I didn't sleep @ all that night for fear he'd die in the night.


I plan on drinkin' a little while in Montreal to enhance my good time, I don't want to be left with the chore of carrying a drunk bear of a man back to the hotel after the game....


also, I want him moderately sober for later if ya catch my drift

Rip, you much teach young grasshopper! 10 double scotch?! 3 hours! Even i am inpressed. MY best ( worst ) alcohol record is a 40 ouncer of smirnoff vodka down in 45 mins. I then passed out within the hour and spent the night by mr bucket. BUT, no friend is yet to top that ( and that doesnt count the lost count of beers i had during the pick-up hockey game before. ( And i was playing goalie at the time ) wish i had a camera!

From what I have heard, it was a lot more than 10.  Also I am hearing that I drank most of MC's Rum & Diet Cokes (she had a few herself).  Plus I was drinking my buddies double vodka and cranberry.  But my favorite part is the fact I don't remember anything after supper.

Johab: I once saw an NHL game while quite inebriated (it was the evening after my fourth and final day of my CA exams) - Wayne Gretzky and the Oilers no less, versus Keith Gretzky and the Sabres, in an exhibition game in Halifax.  And I remember almost none of it.


My advice to you - have a beer if you want to, but not too many.  Games are much more enjoyed while sober.

I dunno Nil d...that Keiths we had was PRETTY strong. Im still not sure if i really was there or if it all was a crazy dream. Guess ill just stick to other beers....that way i stay alert.


Just kidding, since the keiths i had, its been the majority beer ive been drinking. Use to be a Bud man, ( or young man ) but now id have to say Keiths in my favorite. Ill hold one up for you at the game bud! Thanks for the advice!

 Hey haven't been around in awhile just got back from a 3 week camping trip.  Anyways good to see we have 19 us going, it should be a blast.  I won't be getting in to Montreal until 10pm so if were meeting that night you'll have to give me a destination or maybe a number where i can hook up with all of you guys.  Can't wait for the trip and to put faces to the names!

Well..my check actually cleared and I got my ducets yesterday..and the seating plan..Mario put me and the misses right on the end of the asile like I asked..that way I do not have to crawl over everyone when that Moslon beer I rented needs to be recycled. Johab and friend beside us..life is good
