And-o keeps waiting for Bob to spring out from his office and yell..."S-U-R-P-R-I-S-E, I just traded for LeCavalier!!!" (...and that ain't gonna happen)
Well now we are just getting desperate! That would be silly! And-o keeps waiting for Bob to spring out from his office and yell..."S-U-R-P-R-I-S-E, I just traded for LeCavalier!!!" (...and that ain't gonna happen)
Honestly, I wouldn't want Nolan. I would take Lindros for a cheap price though. 1.5 million for 1 year.
Actually so would I. IF Eric the Great stays healthy, he would be just what the Dr. Ordered. Can you imagine him and Kovalev on the same line? I am really putting personal bias aside here because I have always hated Lindros. Ever since he was drafted number one and refuse to even put the Quebec jersey on at the draft..I remember sitting there thinking "Buddy, do you have any idea ho wmany kids would give their left arm to be in your place right now? Who CARES who drafted you...you are in the NHL!".
Having said that, he can still bring alot to the table when he is healthy. He is one of the strongest players in the league, almost impossible to knock off the puck (Scott Stevens has retired lol) and goes hard to the net. His injury last year was non-concussion related (similar to Souray..wrist problem). I say offer him 1.5 plus incentives, put him through a phsyical and sign him. 20 games of Lindros will give you more than 84 with "Robs" and his 1.9 mill.

Not saying anyone is wrong, but my opinion to Nolan and Lindros is hell no. I don't think I would watch a single Habs game this year if Lindros brought discgrace to our sacred uniform.
WEll I think nolan should be ready to go...he played in Que so no prob for Mtl...the only thing is he hasnt played a while so he would have a good second half of a season as with Jason Allison before this year he has not played a solid season
