cry all you want boys... i am glad he's staying... i think this year his attitude will have a adjusted and he'll be better all around. Yes the fact that he needed an adjustment in the first place is probably not good but i still won't give up on him. He is a hab after all.

Maybe he's better suited playing football for Portugal. I've noticed they like the diving-squad pretty boys there.... and his penchant for pomade and Prada won't go unappreciated either....

I seriously think the Portuguese jokes are awesome. It must be the Portuguese in Ribeiro that makes him the way he is...

Maybe he should be playing football for Portugal... as long as they keep on knocking off England and i get to watch Rooney stomp his feet and whine like a baby i'll be just fine! And i thought Ricardo dove pretty well on those penalty shoot outs... I guess it must be a Portuguese thing.

it's not in the jersey or the contract. its in the will to play and the desire to get your team to where they want to go and not just where you,yourself wants to go... i thought Ribeiro showed some of that towards the end of last season... Now if no progress is made this season then clearly he is a lost cause... to some of you, last season was enough but it wasn't for me.

Anyway, clearly there's lots of hate for Ribeiro because he's young, arrogant and a jack-ass... But i still won't give up on him.

Hey, I guess it's only me and the world's press who think Portugal played dirty, so we must be wrong!

And that must be the first time I've heard of Rooney referred to as a whiny baby, I can think of quite a few England players who fit that bill, but not him...

Anyway, hope you're right about Ribs....

Oh i am definitely not argueing the fact that they played dirty.. but according to reliable media sources they were so incredibly dirty that it would take a few scrubs of vim and a steel comb to clean them up... All because 1 ref totally lost control of the Holland vs Portugal match... anyway...

I wish Ribs played like the portuguese soccer team sometimes, rather than flopping on the ice like a dieing fish.... and yes i hope i am right about Ribs cuz sticking up for the guy is tiring considering habs fans are the greatest and definitely the most passionate of them all...

WOW I never knew Ribs was such a let down he's small yes, but GREAT hands and likewise Kovy will give him a touch of his stickhandling GO ribs...Lang would be a great asset to the team and would be perfect for the ol Pitts tandem as POW said...

No one would love to pimp smack that little rat boy more tham myself...but I gotta say I think with some serious growing up...he could turn out to be a pretty good player.

I saw some of his great passes live and his vision is pretty impressive. In fact, I would say one of the better passers in the game. Let's give him another kick at it I say. At least he WANTS to play in Montreal...he has no choice...anywhere else and he would have had a serious beating if he stepped foot into any bar.

Just some advise Ribby...GROW THE HECK UP BOY! Stop pickin fights with the captain, stop wearing gangsta suits( you are no gangster...trust me), stop floppin around on the ice like a soccer player), and put some meat on your bones...you look like Screetch from "saved by the bell"...

1) Samsonov is Detroit bound- So Much For that one
2) Zednik is on the block for the right offer (Lang)- 3rd rounder from washington is PRETTY far from lang in detroit
3) Souray is not on the market- Neither are Koivu Huet Kovalev....please...
4) Aebi is on the market- Well, he was just signed, and im PRETTY sure hes not going anywhere
5) The Habs are not in a hurry to trade Ribs ????!!!!!........
