Smart to finally get rid of Smolinski, but they defintely didn't get market value for Havlat, but got the salary and excess forward dump to make up for it. San Jose is going to be an even better team, especially if they can find someone to play a more complete game than Preissing. Hawks made out well, but I think SJ is the winner.

DAMMIT!!!! I knew it was a long shot, but I hoped Bob would get him. I am kinda glad we didn't in a way because we couldn't afford to pay him 6 million a season
