i dont know about other teams but your to. and jersey assessments are off , new jersey is at 39 mil. with 16 people signed . mogilny and malahov are on their cap . they still have to sign gionta and gomez . to. is at 33.3 mil. on a 42 mil.cap(15 players) as domi and belfor's buyouts count against their cap(2 mil). they still have noone to play with sundin only the stiffs and some young guys they had last year . they still didnt sign raycroft so theres anothe 2 mil , stajan and wellwood and antropov need to be signed aswell . to. and jersey have very little cap left to do anything .

didnt montreal sign begin for a mil per . and why do they have huet at 3 mill .

I worked with what i had, not everything is correct, but feel free to make it right. However I did state that I wasn't adding to speculated signings such as Gionta and Gomez. And as for the buyout, yes I realize that, however I couldn't find their contracts.
At to be honest, I got tired of doing this 20 minutes into it. Took me 2 hours to complete.

EDIT: yeah i see where I messed up, I'll fix in later.

Nice work Jay! Looks like a few teams seriously overspent on a few players and will have to dump salary for cheap, a la Tampa to Dallas. I think that is where Gainey will strike. The question that remains though, is will there be the things we need available to strike at?

sorry jay if you took it as a bash but i was just offering help on what i know . i dont know if you are aware of this but that info can be found at tsn on the right side look for salary commitments for 06-07. again i wasnt bashing you . and good work i wanted to know but too lazy to do all the math . just did a couple of teams , thats how i know about to. and jersey and mtl. of course.

Its all good. I didn't take it as bashing, and no I didn't know I could find it on TSN.ca :sad:
I later found out that i could have also gotten the info on nhlpa.com

Edit: Ugh, i just found out that TSN.ca AND nhlpa.com has errors on their page about certain salaries. So I won't change it save a few that i know are wrong, the ones that i originally listed will remain the 'official' salary until later in the summer.
