There are still other teams who may be willing to trade for Abby. LA, Florida, Pheonix, St Louis, etc. I'm sure there's more. It's a matter of getting the right deal.

I didn't see the Tampa deal happening with Montreal as they wanted picks and no player beside Aebischer and that is a no go when you have players who have talent, but need to move on. I am glad Gainey didn't take on a $6 million salary with a no trade clause in return for $2 million and top future picks.
