That's a pretty big if, and even if they do England owe them one from the last European championships( P.won on penalties).Holland and Portugal are both unbeaten in the last 15, so it should be a good one...

Portugal plays filthy football, and they have a history of playing rough with England...

Still, I think it would be easier to roll over Holland......

...is it training camp yet???

And-o just has 3 'football' (aka soccer) questions;

How drunk does one need to be to enjoy the entire 90 minutes anyway???

Explain the part where someone can actually miss the net???

Is And-o the only one who would rather watch Victoria Beckham for 90 minutes???

To Answer:

The drunker the better...

Explain the part where someone can actually miss the net???

Do you remember that test in high school where you studied and were confident and it all went pear-shaped anyway? Same thing....

Is And-o the only one who would rather watch Victoria Beckham for 90 minutes???

Quite possibly... She is like a gold-dipped ant to me, anyway....

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm- Spicy!! and Posh!!

Well brooky, you called it! What a game today!!!! 16 YELLOW CARDS!!! Im sorry but the refs NEVER let the game start. They wouldnt control they game fairly so the players had to take it into their own hands and thats when the refs finally decided to step in. Portugal is more or less F***ed against england with half their players gone.  Looks like ill be seeing And-o's picture....

Half a Potugal team should be good enough for England the way they are playing!

I feel a new and strange warming toward Portugal- the same feeling I've so far had to Paraguay,Trinidad,Sweden and Ecuador!!The feeling I have to anyone who plays against England!

I've read that a victim will often feel fellowship with those who have suffered a similar trauma as them....

I'm glad you are finding solace my Caledonian friend! They say these funks can last quite a while...

Forca!!!!!

Go Portugal Go!!

With Deco suspended (red cards), C. Ronaldo possibly hurt (left in the first half), and Luis Figo possibly facing suspension (that headbutt will surely be reviewed by Fifa), its time for one man to step up next game and show what he is made of:

PAULETA!!!!

can you hear me??

Thank god for that!!!!!  Someone will have to play Deco's place and get the ball up to Pauleta, and Ronaldo can play the wing (fingers crossed).  I see Simbao on the other wing.  Still looks good for their style.

OT- there is a large Portugeese Population in Hamilton and we shut down James ST (a major road downtown) after yesterdays win.

Being half italian i hope that population shuts it down again today.

They need to calm it down a little with the aggressiveness, especially if they want to beat England, who are so calm they seem dead sometimes...

No point getting to te semis with no one left, and Portugal are so talented and have such an entertaining way of playing, they don't need to get silly about it....

Must be great to watch in Portugal, with all that lovely sunshine and flowing wine...... mmmmmm

Actually Hamilton isn't beer town, its a coffee city, as in Tim Horton's Coffee.

Hamilton is where it all began.

The identity of And-o is safe as long as England's "Leaf Like" performances continue!

Sure they were a little dirty, but so where the dutch.  If anyone the referee is to blame.  He let the game get out of hand when he did not red card the dutch player for tackling C. Ronaldo in his sensitive man region with his spikes up!!!  That is the incident that fueled the fires to come.

If the refs are unwilling to protect your superstars, sometimes you have to do it yourself.

See : Semenko, Dave (seeing as this is a hockey board) or Ferguson, John SR. (as this is a habs board).

Good grief...is that a picture of Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham?  No wonder the guy cheated on her!!  I think I'd rather roll around in wet beach sand with Paris Hilton.  I once thought Posh was fairly attractive, at least as far as manufactured and made up British pop stars go.  She looks downright beastly in that pic.  Yeeeewwwwwww.
