the way england played today, you can forget about Final Four......they wold still have to face portugal or holland to get there.....

and IF they do , Brazil will lay the hammer down.

Not to worry, if Brazil defeat Ghana (wouldn't it b great if they didn't) they'll have to face Italy...who will beat them

hey norskipaul, i believe you have been mislead with what you heard abou the whole matchup situation. the only way that brazil can face italy is in the finals. if brazil beat ghana, they will play either france or spain, and the winner of that game is off to the semi-finals against either england or portugal. england need to pick up their game though, which fortunately they usually do for the bigger teams. last world cup when they played brazil they certainly held their own, and if wasn't for that terrible goal david seamen let it, they could have won that. they have a better team now, so hopefully they will fare better.

i cant believe this many hockey fans can actuly watch and seamingly like soccer. i watched about an hour of a few different games all i could take and i saw about 10 shots total . most of the so called action takes place in the middle of the pitch and there is hardly ever a chance

I'm with you, Red. I've tried and tried to like the sport, but I just can't get into it. I even got bored playing the damned thing when I was in junior high!
