I just love it that it was Stilman that coughed up the puck on the OT winner.....where was he for post game interviews.....he's all talk when they win and when they lose you need to send out a search party........

YOWZAI! That guy I flogged those tickets to sure got his money's worth!

I guess we were all wrong (except and-o, of course) about the rout

sometimes it's great to be wrong (excepft for and-o, of course, to whom this is a still unexplored state for him to be in)

Awesome goal by Pisani, I wanted to see the cup won in Carolina for the bigger celebration but give Edmonton credit I guess, Markannen came up big on that sick save.

But now going to Edmonton ya never know.

That is typical of how carolina has been all playoffs..when they lose you cannot find them for a comment..when they win you need a surgeon to remove the microphone from their mouths.

What a great pass by Stillman.  Gotta love those cross ice softies.  They tell you in peewee to not make those passes.....  And Stillman is making how much?

Stillman is making 1.9 with the Canes but when he was with Tampa and they tried to make
a deal with him but he said (agent) we're going to take you to abritration and Tbay said we'll walk away from the abritration decision & sure enough the abritrator gave him 3.9 and Tbay made him a free agent and he ended up with the Canes.....

Love the fact, the game is going back to Edmonton, if anyone hasn't seen the signing of the national anthems, I suggest you check it out.  Being a Canadian and hear those fans belt out the national anthem makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.  If hearing the fans doesn't move you in any way, i suggest you get your heart checked.  If you look real closely behind the Edmonton bench, you might see Joey (the stick boy) just signing his heart out, which is amazing!

I met Joey Moss 10 years ago at "Rexall", and he's quite a hoot. Big heart and big opinions that don't budge easily.

Boy does he put heart into that anthem....

Isn't Joey Janet Moss' brother (i.e. Janet Gretzky)?  Or did I dream that?

Apparently he met him at a bottle deposit and since his aunt had Down Syndrome he nivited him to work with the Oilers. The rest is history

I was curious, so I found this in Wikipedia.  I had the Gretzky connection down, but the wrong female partner (Janet was/is a Jones anyway, not a Moss; I just remembered).  Vicky Moss was a former girlfriend; Joey is her brother.

*****************************************

Joey Moss is the equipment manager for the Edmonton Oilers. He was born with Down syndrome. In 2003, he was awarded the "Seventh Man Award" by the NHL Alumni Association. Every year, an intrasquad Oilers game called the 'Joey Moss Cup' is held during training camp.

Joey's responsibilities on the team have grown from folding towels to vacuuming floors, filling water bottles, and other chores.

He was given the job by former Oiler's president Glen Sather in 1984 and is assisted in his day to day duties by Lyle (Sparky) Kulchisky. The job was given on the request of Wayne Gretzky, who was dating Joey's sister Vicky, a local singer.
