Center Ice, right behind the bench....

Now should I go or Ebay them (my wife hasn't woken up, and she might not be as excited as me that I spent 600 bucks on a game that doesn't involve the Habs

Brooky, would love to...but I don't know if I could handle the Canes "fans"...I'd have to use sandpaper to shower after the game...

LOL! I factored in the hotel/plane situation and it would have been over a thousand bucks to see the game, but I'm sure that I'll get someone to bid.

The only real incentive is that they are a row behind the bench, close enough to spit on our pal Williams

I had similar seats at a Devils game and, using my limited Russian (it's a long story how I know any) dished out a stream of truly nasty insults to Malakhov. He finally responded in the second period, and they told me if I didn't stop I'd be ejected... well worth it, though

Speakin' as an Ebayaholic You will sell those tickets on there.... & probably for a lot more than face value (providing you have listed as an auction & not only as a "buy it now")

I have sold many tickets to various events on Ebay (we couldn't go to due to work) & I've always come out ahead.

You may not sell them right away, but once a "game 5" in locked... they'll sell fast. I haven't seen the auction page yet, but make sure you highlight that they are right behind the bench.

Hey thanks, check the link above and tell me what you think of the listing, if there's anything I need to add/subtract. I included phrases like "See the steam coming off the players" and "Hear the coaches yelling" I was going to put in "See the bloodstains on William's stick" but figured it might be more tactful to leave it out

I've sent a message to your Ebay account email. .....

LOL. I'm glad you left out the "blood stain" part.... more than likely it'll be a Canes fan who buys 'em from ya. LOL.... Although, if it were the Habs, I'd probably go to Carolina for game 5.... so who knows it could be an Oiler fan

BTW ~ I told you I was an Ebay junkie.... if you looked at my feedback list you saw that all my auctions were won over the last 15 months (except the very first one ... those were Roopie's golf clubs)

Can you say E.A???  (Ebay Anonymous???)

I got reformed after my New York sized apartment (the closet in most other cities) filled up with stuff I didn't need but seemed so right at the time

Worst case: A case of premium tennis balls, after I was getting drunk watching the US open... Most of them ended up in the mouths of friendly local dogs, or with my kid's friends

Most of what I buy for us is Dog or Habs related there's always room for that kinda stuff... the rest of the purchases are gifts for others. I like to get stuff for friends/relatives b/days etc. that I KNOW they don't have, but would really really love & has a personal meaning for them. Ebay is the best way to find anything, at anytime.

Also, I get a whole lotta Tweety stuff on there too LOL I've cut back huge on my bidding though. Maybe one or two purchases a month now Woo Hoo *\o/*

How's the wife feel now that they went for over $1000?

She probably went from "You jerk, you threw away six hundred bucks!" to "Honey, we did very well".

By the way, MC Girl: Get help.

I have to say that I have maybe the coolest wife in town, as during the anxious 7 hours I thought the high bidder was a deadbeat, she just repeated what she said while I was waiting for the first bid "If they don't sell, just take a friend and go..."

Needless to say, I've never seen her quite as excited to see a hockey game as she was last night, nailbiting all the way!!! I think we're going to use a portion of the auction proceeds to get a bronzed replica of Ryan Smyth's chest for above the setee

The rest is going to a babysitter-enabled night of steaks and debauchery!!! Mmmmmmm.... fancy, highly explosive cocktails, Mmmmmmmmmm....
