Although there will be roster changes to the Habs lineup by training camp, it will be interesting to see if Carbo's coaching philosophy will be different from what we saw last year. For example, will be abandon the 1-4 trap system for a more aggressive 2-1-2 puck pursuit sytem? Will he give more ice time to his best players, occasionally double shifting the likes of Kovalev? Will he encourage Markov to be more aggressive offensively? If Someone like Chipchura or Lantandresse impresses in training camp will they be rewarded with a regular shift in the regular season? Last seasonHiggins was buried on the fourth line until Gainey took over, will Carbo be as trusting with young players and give them greater responsibilities?

Certainly expect Carbo to be more emotional behind the bench than Gainey was, but will he be able to maintain his composure when dealing with the difficult Montreal media. Hopefully Carbo can get the maxium out of some of the higher maintence players on the team and find a way to maximize the teams best asset, overall team speed. Gainey can upgrade the team, but it is up to Carbo to show that he is up to the job for the team to move to the next level.

I'm sooo excited to see what Carbo does with/for our team.

Can't wait till next season.... I'm already into Habs withdrawl. Thank goodness we've recorded some of the games from last season. We can just toss a DVD in & calm the symtoms of withdrawl.

Hey newfiehabsfan.  Love the avatar.  I work with quite a few guys from the east coast.  They all really seem to love Ryder (as do I) It is so nice to have a player on our team that Leaf fans worship.
