This afternoon, I receive a personal phone call from Canadiens VP Communications, Donald Beauchamp who called to thank me personally for the online form I set up last week so that Saku Koivu fans can send Saku well wishes.


 


Mr. Beauchamp was extremely thankful from everyone’s kind wishes, and stated he was going to hand the 275 personal greetings over to Saku.  He also told me that Saku underwent surgery, and will be re-examined on his progress in the coming days and weeks.


 


On a personal level, I was really impressed with the Canadiens’ taking the time to call me, but they are  a class organization so I shouldn’t be surprised.


 


 I want to thank everyone who took the time to fill out the form.  And rest assured Saku will receive it.

That's soooo amazing Glad Saku will get them. (not that the prayers would go unanswered if he didn't)


It's still really kind of them to go & do that for him.... You are right sir!!! They are one classy organization.

Wow!  Isn't that great!


There's a lot a class going around - Saku, the Habs' brass, Mario, ................ and even some of us fans.


And I'm impressed with the total (275).  Were they all from this site?  I didn't know there were 275 of us here.

i expect nothing else from the habs organization , its good to know that saks will know that he had alot of support from fans , after the press conference debocle i think he needed a dose a good fortune and good wishes . now lets go out and make him a number 2 center .

Thanks for the praise.   Much appreciated.   275 ... yeah i got some help from Team990's PJ Stock and Tony Marinaro who kept plugging it on their respective shows that day it went up.
