Iginla didn't bring his team to the next round. Maybe they can trade him to the HABS!
And Iginla looked dominating, but needed help. Watching a couple of the Calgary games, I was blown away (again) by the lack of forward talent on that team. Ok, great defensemen, great goalie, but the forwards are mostly pretty limited. If they aren't going on full cylinders, that team doesn't have the goods. It must be incredibly frustrating for Iginla.
Iginla in Montreal....wouldn't that be something. Too bad it will never happen.
Calgary needs some serious scoring power, asides from Iginla, Calgary would, and should try to get more offense, you don't do that by shipping off one of the best goal scorers in the league, while brining in a few lesser ones. You bring in the lessers to help Iggy.

Yes we clearly saw against Anaheim that they were just like in the season a very low scoring team who rely mainly on Kippy. I see Iggy going to a big market team Dallas ? Detroit ? I wish Montreal. But Iginla wasn't all there this playoffs I mean he got into fights for example against Beauchemin, bad trade off, Calgary losing their best player by far for 5 minutes... He loses his cool to fast.
I'm sad Flames are done like dinner but like Habs, they'll be better next season. I still think they'll win the Cup and probably before Habs. They have the core in place...solid defense and goalie. Solid forward in Iginla they can build around. They need a couple centers and wingers and they'll do some damage. Sutter will focus on this and improve that team. Iginla will get his ring within 3 years. That's my guess.
