Can't wait looks like some great matchups. My predictions.

BUF vs OTT = Ottawa in 6. Too much firepower even though Emery is mediocre.
NJ vs CAR = New Jersey in 5 or 6. Brodeur outdueling Ward and too much experience/gamebreakers on NJ.

EDM vs SJ = Wow tough pick, I will go with Sharks in 6 or 7.
COL vs ANA = Avs in 6 or 7. Theo making it easier for avs.

Hmmm, I'll go

Buf vs Ott - Buf in 6
NJ vs Car - NJ in 5
Edm vs SJ - Edm in 7
Col vs Ana - Anaheim in 6 (sorry Theo)

Should be interesting...BECAUSE EVERY PICK I'VE MADE TIS PLAYOF HAS BEEN WRONG SO FAR

Ottawa over Buffalo (Ottawa pulled it out against a Lightning team that was actually hustling for once, so the Sabres could be toast)

Carolina over New Jersey (lack of size comes back to haunt Devils)

San Jose over Edmonton (question: Thornton, will he continue to be quiet in playoffs? 4 assists in 5 games is unacceptable for the league's leading scorer.)

Anaheim over Colorado (Anaheim looked GOOD, but they might be tired, so this'll be a close one)

These all look like close series.

Sens in 6 - too much depth for Buffalo to handle.

Devils in 6 - Brodeur's experience will outlast Carolina's firepower.

San Jose in 7 - Thornton is due to wake up, and when he does Edmonton won't be able to handle them.

Colorado in 6 - more rest and Theo's 'tending will make the difference in this series.

Thornton's biggest knock is that he has never performed in the playoffs and it looks like it may continue.

Ottawa in 6 - too deep and too much firepower.

Devils in 6 - best team and goalie in hockey wear down the 'Canes.

Sharks in 6 - solid team and too much scoring even without Thornton.  Oilers are the wild card at this point, though.

Ducks in 7 - Ducks are much better than people think and Bryzgalov is playing fantastic. Theo up to his old tricks and lets in some stinkers.

I'd like to see a new team win the Cup, so I'll hope for Ottawa versus San Jose or Anaheim.

But really, after the Habs are gone, I simply don't care!
