Ryder needs to work on his fundamentals.  His sloppy play on the line change cost the Habs a goal .... and unfortunately it means the season is over.

Ya know...And-o also blew a freakin gasket at Ryder's half-hearted effort that turned over the puck at the end of his shift.

Anyway...I hope the kid learns!

Ryder has limited hockey sense. Get it in deep while your team in changing. He was one on three for ****s sake!

I wonder if Ryder even cares.  Will he carry this flub with him throught the off season, and ise it motivate himself to improve his game?  Is it the little lesson that helps him elevate his game?

Come on guys; you can't pin the whole series on Ryder for the sake of one play!  How do we know he wasn't trying to dump the puck in?  And who scored the OT winner in Game 2?  If it weren't for him there would not have been a game tonight.

Lighten up.  Ryder's one of the core of the team for the future.

He's a young kid with two seasons of experience. He will be just fine.

Yep. Can't pin this on anyone. I liked the fight in most of the boys really. I think it is pretty evident that Koivu is the heart of this team.

I like Higgins and Ryder...both solid players...but Higg went from something like 12 goals in 18 games(once with Koivu),,,to nothin'. Says something eh? Cherry, Canes coach(Laviolette), Souray, Pang all awknowleged after the game...the Koivu loss sunk the ship.

Nevertheless...building for the future. Now if we can just land Lecavlier to play with Kovalev in the off-season...

That was my post season vent..I'm better now!

Like I sad before, it's too bad that happened and I hope he learns from it. Also we lost as a team. Nil, I like Ryder also and we do need this guy because we need his goals. He will improve on the fundamentals.

Seriously guys, let's tip our hats to the boys for overacheiving and giving us some great thrills!!! No point in singling out now, let's hope the deficiencies are addressed in the summer! BTW, Ryder is not the problem, he needs to work on parts of his game...but he's a lifetime hab in the vien of Steve Shutt IMHO!

Ryder was our best forward and hardest worker after Begin.

Dandenault cost us the first goal giving the perfect pass off the face-off to Recchi.

And it was a fluke goal that Rivet wishes he had back on the OT winner.

Bottom line last goal was a fluke...not Ryder's fault odds of Carolina scoring on that type of play .....I'd say 2 out of 1000. at most.
