Oh ya, I mentioned in the game thread a couple of hours ago and I'm still furious over it. This is poor sportsmanship and I was disgusted the habs didn't deal with it. When it's blatant, as it was twice tonight, it warrants an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty...I've seen it called before!

ya man, i said the same thing...... that's should definitely be a penalty. but the refs would never call something our way like that. they'd rather just look the other way when that happens and just WAIT for one of our guys to do something about it, so that we can get stuck with the penalty.

how about all the Carolina Dives? at one point Staal looked like he was dead, when no penalty was called, he made a miraculous recovery and joined the play. is Greg louganis an assistant coach?

I mentioned it as well. But the first time ithappned Rivet tried to send a messege to i think Recchi but all they did was exchange words because the reff was in the way. I expect the ref warned Rivet in front of Recchi that if he started another scrum he would get a penelty. This would make sense because the Canes only started putting the puck in late in the third were we couldn't risk a penelty. The reff should have called a unsportsmanlike conduct since it was clearly blatent and unlike Recchi's completly intentional.
