Theo & Avs move on to next round

Avs win in OT to beat the Stars 4 games to 1. I watched the whole game and I have to say that Theo was rock solid, 44 saves, for probably his best game of the season. Good for him.

disclaimer: just posting to inform the remaining Theo fans & well wishers. If you hate Theo and wish him to fail, I ask that you ignore this thread and not start another "Who cares" or "I hope Theo gets hit by a bus" thread

I for one am happy to see the kid get back on track..sometimes a change of scenery is good. He is starting to look like the Theo that lead the habs a few years ago.

Good for him! He's too good a goalie to go down the Jim Carey path.... (a right turn from Lalime St.)

I'm a fan of Colorado as I've mentioned a bunch of times (as my number 2 team) and I've always really liked Theodore, so this was really good news for me. I didn't watch all of the game, but I did see the OT winner, and I was really pleased to see Colorado win it, especially since I thought Dallas would win the series. I was kind of surprised that Turco wasn't as good as I expected him to be, but hey, that's hockey!

Id enjoy theos improved play much better if my best friend wasnt a Avs fan and wasnt rubbing it in my face everyday. And just to add, Theo had 50 saves on 52 shots...

Man that's the 2nd time I've misquoted shots and both time I got it from CBS Sportsline. Where's the best place to get accurate shots on goal and updated in game stats online, anyone? Still, 50 saves is great!

Yes and no Barry. I grudgingly admit that if Theo were in our net with us playing the way we are, the series probably would have ended as a 4-1 Carolina win last night. Theo played shaky all series except for the last game, which I saw strong indications of the former Theo. Confident and controlling his rebounds.

Oh dont get me wrong..I am still much, much, much , much , much, much, happier with Huet in net then Theo. And, as much as anything, it was Theo's play that helped push Julien out the door. Having said that, I do hope the kid resurrects his career in Colorado.

Ironic how Theo almost cost us playoffs and now Avs will carry him a long way.

Have to say though, if he's playing good one out of every few games, he must have his inconsistent game back in tack. Good for him.

Actually if you'd been watching the whole series, like I have, you'd have seen that Theo has been steadily improving. No one player could cost any team the playoffs or a series for that matter. If any player is as bad as people think on this board then it is the coaches job to get him out and the GM's job to move or dispose of him.

YES! Theo has been improving throughout each game, he was frickin amazing in Game 5. Wow I'm so happy for my avs. Again the same clutch people Super Joe, Hejduk and wow Andrew Brunette! And I swear EVERYONE said Dallas would beat them and in like 5 or 6 games, so sad, people should know by now that Turco isn't any good in the playoffs and they choke (kind of like St-Louis). Anyways GO AVS GO! Now I need my Habs to advance.

Not that I can see, he was drafted by Washington and has also played for Nashville, Atlanta & Minnesota.
