Wow!  You know, to many players, taking out somebody's eye would definitely discourage them from high-sticking somebody again (at least for a little while).  i'm really glad Williams didnt let a silly incident like that whole dumb Koivu-eye thing discourage him from continuing to play his game and high stick other players carelessly in the face. 

Classy move by the ref to not call it either.  there was already a risk that Williams would have been reluctant to do it again, and a penalty call would only have deterred it further.
