First of all if and when the Habs get past the Canes they will play Ottawa not New Jersey if you are going to make fun of our penchant for complaining about refereeing at least get our second round opponent right....its a lot harder to understand those confusing seedings...eh.
Secondly you have to admit that Carolina players really seem to enjoy skating into, pushing out of the way, and shoving sticks in post whistle on Huet.
Attn moderators, request this agitator be removed and his ip blocked. We've all been down this road before and storm sure is just here to annoy. Can I get a second?

Sorry, I was pickin' possum outta my toofs, whadya say?
HEE HEE...My goodness! What have I said that is so "agitating?" I have merely written my opinions! I when did I insult you kind folks? First you all (at least the more irrational ones) want Williams suspended for an accidental high stick, and now you want my banned from the GoHabs site!?! How thin-skinned are some of you? Good grief.
This is getting a little petty everyone. Storm is giving us a different opinion and we need to respect that. Let's stop the personal attacks on the both sides and stick to arguing hockey. Storm is far more respectful than that Leaf fan from a while back, so let's treat him with a bit more respect. End of Moderation :)
Now, in my purely objective fan opinion, Habs have been very quiet about the refereeing (which is classy and good), but it has been brutal for both sides, and as chance would have it, we have receieved the lion's share of bad calls. Huet has also been blatantly interfered with on a consistent basis, which is the fault of Canes forwards, but also the fault of our D for not stepping up physically and making them stop.
Let's just hope for a fair and clean series the rest of the way so we can beat the Canes and move on to the next series.
I appreciate your words Habtastic. I'll join you in watching what will be I'm sure a great game tonight between two excellent hockey teams. I'll be there in the house and, as always, I'll sing BOTH anthems before the game. May the best team win!

My only Beef with you Storm Surge was your multiple miss quoting and tagging things to me that others said. I still think you were trying to stir things up, a'la Esa Tikkenen or Mathew Barnaby, but hey, that's hockey
If I did that I apologize. Actually, just before I signed onto this message board I had seen a lot of what I considered absurd comments on TSN's website about officiating along with some more reasonable comments on this site that I disagreed with...may have blended them together... I just wanted to comment and have some dialogue with some Habs fans. All the Habs fans that I have talked with at the RBC Center have been great...including one guy whose face was painted like the famous Dryden mask with the red white and blue rings! His english was a helluva lot better than my French.
Great game was Game #5 tonight...whoever comes out of this series is gonna give their opponent a great test...that much is for sure!
It's all good Surge, but if you guys win it'll be Jersey (15-0!) and I don't love your chances. If we win, I beleive it will be Ottawa and we've had some success with them.
Either way, who would have figured Cam Ward to stand so tall, good for him!

Well, anybody playing Jersey will have their hands full. We have had success against both teams this year...If we get by the Habs, I'll take the "under" on the "Jersey by 15" prediction...
Good luck in Game 6...should be another great game!

LOL, no, I meant Jersey is on a 15-0 roll! Very scary team indeed.

Misread on my part....LOL! I read it as some sarcasm about the Dev's killin' the 'Canes in a potential matchup...although, as good as they are playing, you can understand my confusion!Yeah, the Devils are literally on fire! But, the Rangers were equally as bad - man did they go in the tank! 15 in a row nonetheless!
Good luck in game 6 Kahuna....the Habs...in a must win in Montreal...the 'Canes will have to play an excellent game to win because I expect the Habs to do just that.
I think it will go seven, if it does it's anybodies series again. Remember, the Canes were hands down the best team out there the last 3 and only won each by a goal, I refuse to beleive my habitants will roll over without a 7th game!
