Sorry guys'n'girls I've had a couple, so I couldn't help myself. First thing I've noticed is how everybody throws a lot of numbers around. Only one assist, god, he sucks. Another thing that comes to mind is that most of the opinions voiced here are based on what's shown on TV. Of course the flashy Kovy plays impress us all and we go down on our knees in thanks when he pulls one off, but in no way is he a better player that Koivu. Or Begin, for that matter. He's a totally different type of player. A team of Koivus would slaughter a team of kovys on 8 of 10 occasions. After all it's all the hard work done that doesn't get shown on the highlights that makes the difference.

Having said all that I do agree that we need that big, strong centre type that a lot of you have been talking about, and that koivu would be better as a second line centre.

I also have to admit that I'm partial to Koivu because I love Finland and he supports United.
