Just an update...... Hubby is on 2 long afternoon shift's in a row (yesterday & today) & is on days tomorrow. He will update the pool standings at some point tomorrow evening. He has the program on his laptop & it's at work with him, so I can't do it.

Im curious MC. What program is it he is using? LAst year i did it the hard way. I literally pulled up the NHL.com stats page and counted up EVERY players points for every team submitted to me. was a 3 hour non stop job....your "hubby" has NO IDEA how much his work has helped out this past little bit.

He uses some kind of spreadsheet... I'll have him explain more when he gets home. He's gone to get wings & pizza before the game

Hey Johab, I set up a simple excell spread sheet, and added a simple sum formula to add up all of the results.  I had to get a little creative with the goalies, but managed to make due.  And btw congrats on your new found fame.  Can I have your autograph man?  I think your now cooler than Chuck Norris.

I think the Wings did most of us in, so it's still an even playing field!  Who'da thunk, Wings out in first round....

Ugh I went from 5th to 11th because I have nobody left, damn, who would have thought though a cup for either Edmonton/San Jose, Anaheim, Carolina, Buffalo.....

i could have actually. look at the strategy in my picks.... yes...ill tell you my secret.... 3 years now i have won a hockey pool against people who KNOW their stuff. Secret is...Go with gut feelings 10% of the time and sure things the other 90. ( 1oo% of it is luck though, you cant predict ANYTHING in the playoffs ( ottawa and detroit ) Majority of my picks were from Detroit and Ottawa ( most peoples picks were ) BUT you have to remember that when majorities pick the top teams, you have to make your team a LITTLE different from theirs if you want a chance at winning. Soooo you pick your dark horses. Mine were Buffalo ( i REALLY watched them those last 2 games against the habs ) and i also thought San jose ( their record with Thornton is impossible to ignore ) And so i took Briere ( who has been INSANE since his return from his injury ) and Cheechoo ( Dynamite since playing on a line with Thornton ) This guys have been amazing during the playoffs. And Most people looked over these guys. PROBABLY the difference maker from 1st and 2nd place. I think 1st place and bragging rights are more or less in the bank for me. DOES ANYONE have more than 2 players left? I have Cheechoo and Briere....

I picked 3 or 4 guys from San Jose. I always pick a fav from the West and a fav from the East and then one Darkhorse team, with about an equal number of players from each. I got really nailed with Detroit, and Ottawa outscored Jersey in their short runs, so nailed there, as well. Hopefully San Jose can keep me afloat, but I also don't want to root against Edmonton...

hehe, had a great time thanks. I'm going back in september, did't have time to hit every spot I wanted to hit. I ended spending 18 hours at a poker table my last day there, didn't realize the time pass by lol.

Most of it was made at the poker table, and on a single slot machine that kept paying off lol. However I lost 600 at the craps table cause no one was rolling good
