Mario..this is exactly why Hab fans demand alot. It's a two way street. Very loyal fans that pay huge money to support their team. Gainey said it himself this season..."the fans are our share holders if you will"
thats alot of people and money , if the average price of a ticket is 100 thats 80 million in gate alone and only paying out 39 to the players (less)gillett will be supporting some of his less fortunate owners thanks to the new cba.

And the Habs sellout record goes to prove that even without selling out (ie Toronto, NYR) we can still draw fans. He's right. I remember hearing on TV awhile ago that Colorado has sold out for a number of years.
