I was noticing that the Jays played Chicago Sunday and rain made it impossible to continue. They called the game a final and Chicago won after five innings. I thought that they would have a rain delay or complete the game at a later time or day?

Isn't the game official after five innings? I think that's the mimimum number of innings for a game to count.

Five innings and it's "In the books." However, they only played 4 1/2 innings, but the ChiSox were leading and the home team, so the bottom half of the 5th wasn't going to make a difference to the outcome.
