Alright, before EVERYONE freaks out over the lost tonight, there is NO WAY anyone can say montreal didnt give it their all. They poured shots on ALL night but buffalo litterally dives at the puck no matter where it is. Their main defensive focus is to get in front of that puck. The team blocked over 30 shots tonight. Im possitive at least 1 of those would have gone in. But its over now and there is nothing we can do. However we have 1 last chance to MAKE SURE we get our spot and that is a win on tuesday. This ladies and gents IS THE biggest game of the year, no matter what has been said before. MONTREAL MUST win or lose in overtime to get in. That or i believe a Thrashers loss. But with the help we're giving them, they wont be letting us get away with it that easily by handing us the playoffs. Atlanta has Washington and Florida left. All of a sudden, these are my 2 favorite teams!!! OVECHKIN!!! TAKE IT TO THE THRASHERS TOMORROW AND IF NOT YOU THEN LUONGO....BE A HUMAN WALL!!!

sorry jo but we're done , if its any consolation we will finish ahead of toronto . we can all get in line to thank bob for an early spring . he totally ****ed up the goalie situation .

I'm not a fan of Aebischer, but I'm going to disagree with you that we're done and that Big Bob screwed up the goaltending. From what I've seen of Aebischer, he ain't pretty but he gets the job done. As for us being done, come on now, get back on the bandwagon...I'll throw in some free beer I'll admit it's looking grim, but all we need is for Atlanta or Tampa to falter by one point or for us to push Jersey to OT. I've gotta believe one of those things is going to happen...BELEIVE!

Things don't look great, but let's stay positive. The guys were trying hard tonight and you can bet they'll try even harder Tuesday. Huet will be in the net if Gainey has a single brain in his head. And it's still going to be difficult for Atlanta and Tampa to win all of their games. That's 4 games that have to go a certain way for us to not make it: we have to lose in regulation, Atlanta needs to win both their games, and Tampa needs a point. Although possible, come on, it's more likely that something will go wrong in those games and we'll make it.

The other teams should be saying  The Habs  or u mean Huet. These other teams ride their hot goalies game in game out. They were saying Brodeur thrives on it. He learns constantly about opposing shooters because he plays so much. I know i said it before but it needs to be said again RIDE HUET

Here's some hope, if Philly can beat Jersey today, Jersey will be stuck in 5th place making the Montreal game completely meaningless to them...meaning they'll rest their best players, ESPECIALLY BRODEUR! GO FLYERS GO!!!
