I believe Souray was on the ice for all 4 Buffalo goals. His defense is sufferin' lately!
Could not agree more, ploufer. He's the worst Hab defender in the defensive zone. I also thought he could have prevented that empty-netter - he just started skating after the puck too late.
Very disappointing, after he had been playing so well. He is still a force on the offense, however; except tonight he couldn't put it past Jay McKee. I can't see how McKee was not named a star tonight. He was a shot-blocking machine.

It's not that I don't hate the Laffs. Just that for me it's more important that the Habs get in than that the Laffs are out. I didn't think the Laffs could catch Atlanta anyway.
Damn! It's not that I don't hate the Laffs. Just that for me it's more important that the Habs get in than that the Laffs are out. I didn't think the Laffs could catch Atlanta anyway.
I know
Leaf fans actually believed that, had they made it to the playoffs... they'd have gone right to the finals. I'm just so happy I don't have to hear that stuff anymore. If you had to hear their fans BS day in & day out... you'd be happier too. I do realize that it's bitter sweet though.
WOW, a pro goalie throwing his stick...I knew that was a penalty shot before the ref did REALLY nice save though-- Edited by The Kahuna at 21:38, 2006-04-15
When was the last time a Montreal goalie pulled such a stunt? Unreal!
By the way, except for the empty-netter, the score was 3-2. (So I'm not so crazy after all). Every game in the series went 3-1 or 3-2.
What is it with Montreal and Buffalo? In the Cup-winning year of 1993, the Habs swept the Sabres 4 straight in the quarterfinals, and every score was 4-3.
