3-1 Sabres.  Bad move by Komi but a great one by Briere(?).  Habs have not been playing with any intensity tonight which is hard to understand as they don't have a playoff spot confirmed as yet.

It's actually funny that the crowd gets deflated after Buffalo goals and exited after the Montreal goal...it really feels like a home game.

This one is over boys and girls. The Habs weren't ready for tonight game... They don't have the jump and are now down my 2 goals. Think they are saving their energy for the Bruins tomorrow night.

RDS announcers getting frustrated with Streit, Kovy and Ryder. Guess they are a little biased.

I'm not writing them off yet, one goal and they're right back in it. Yes they weren't ready at all, but the next 8 minutes are all hey have to win to win this game.

They cannot afford to save their energy for another game.  The Broons will go all out to beat the Habs as they want to play spoilers since they will soon be on the golf course.

Ribs misses an easy shot in front of the net.... Just not meant to be tonight. No drive to win tonight. Can't grab 6th, TB is not playing well, motivation not there.

What is up with the PP? Is anyone in front of the net? Sounds like they are just passing it around for the last few games. This is not the showing you want at any time of the year, but especially going into the play-offs.

Game's over.  You can write them off now.

Not a good performance by the boys.  Best forward: Zednik.  Best defenseman: Komisarek.

Huet had a very good game, as did Miller when it counted.

Otherwise, Pfut.

Did the Sabres have a goalie tonite?!??? He will be home early. No shower needed.

LOL, Glen Healey actually was speaking the truth when he said he could have played goal for the Sabres tonight...hell I could have pulled that one off and it's been 6 years since I even played industrial league! Still, only losing 3-1 when you play so awful has some possitives. My goat of the night is Kovalev...2 minutes for excessive coasting!!!

Not to question the coaching but what the hell are they doing playing Dandenuault and Streit as a defensive pairing?!???? One is lost out there and the other guy is looking for him.

Good one Barry

The only one who came to play tonight was Huet. The 3 goals he let in were "good goals".

As for the rest of the team..... Holy Crap!!!! Nobody played tonight. No one was in front of the net, all they did was pass (& not very well I might add) they didn't play physical at all..... did I miss anything???? The boys should feel horrible over that loss, they didn't even try.

Got some great pics of the team during warm ups though. The warmups was where they played their best game tonight.

It happens MC, especially after a long hot streak. I'm sure they'll be up for the B's tomorrow.

The key tonite will be matching the Sabre's intensity. One thing that I have seldom seen with a Sabres team is to see them outworked by the opposition.

How prophetic Barry - you may have a scouting future. Exactly the result - outworked.

Please recommend 4 teams for me to pick from in my upcoming play-off pool - the Habs being one of course - unless..... (SCREAM) oops I just scared myself.

Seriously would appreciate play-off tips from one and all - And-o don't you DARE suggest Sundin!

Cleghorn...And-o hopes that he doesn't have to suggest any Leaf!

...seriously though, load up on Sharks!  That's right!  San Jose is going to turn heads!

I'm with you on this one, And-o. Don't expect Thornton to be quiet in this post-season.

Well two teams have caught fire, and with the Habs streaks have been with them all year.  Three games left and its not hard to lose all the year.  Although I'm sure it won't happen, I'm getting a little nervous.  Clinch  a playoff spot already.
