1. Zednik scores (finally) in his first game back (shades of Jan Bullis). And it was no accident; he was all over the ice and skated very strongly.
2. Aebischer, ugly as it looked, played a great game, and made the saves when they really counted, including that near-flub with about a minute to go.
3. Bulis was flying tonight. Sort of like early in the year - he covered lots of real estate but had no results. They will come if he keeps on skating.
4. Komisarek was a dominant force out there; hitting everything that moved. He was good with the puck too.
5. Souray was blasting away from the point, and the Habs (Ribeiro even) were jamming the crease. It doesn't have to be a secret, everyone knows he's back there. Give him the puck nonetheless and let him blast away. Al MacInnis will be in the Hall of Fame for doing that for 20 years.
6. Kovalev actually tried a few passes tonight. One of them even clicked, in a manner, on Souray's goal.
7. The thing I liked best: the score! Habs win 3-2!!!!!!!!!!!! A win coming after a loss is great to see too. They were so streaky earlier in the year.

I'll agree with everything except; Aebischer's game was not that ugly. He did look akward on a few shots, but for the most part, I felt his positioning and focus were excellent. Rebounds still weren't great, but he was putting them out of danger a lot more than previous games. He put in a first rate backup goalie performance.
