What a waste of a jersey he is.  He is as inspired as a kid on his way to the dentist.   Here's hoping that tonight is the last of him in a Hab's jersey.

He had a stronger game than Downey but that isn't saying much.

Well at least you have stopped picking on Koivu for a bit... ooops... maybe I shouldn't have said that... :)

Hey Habtastic, give me some credit, I haven' picked on him the last couple weeks since he started playing better. I have to say though, the last couple games he's looking tired and weak on his legs. He needs a rest.

Downey is valuable to this team.  Everyone is two inches taller when he is in the lineup.  Sundstrom has NO role at all.  I'd rather they play a kid from Hamilton than Sunny.

Sundstrom's a boring player, and he even looks bored out there. But he's also a calm, handy veteran who knows how to make his side of the ice a place where very little happens. When facing a top line, that can be a very good thing. Sadly it also means nothing happens offensively either. Anyway, I see him being useful on the 4th line in the playoffs, especially if Begin's done for the season (not that he's anything like Begin, but he can kill penalties and is not prone to lapses of judgement in crunch situations).

I agree Plouf. Sunny is a "technical" player. Notice nothing ever happens offensively for either team when he is on. He is very very smart and a pretty good shut down guy. A nice little replacement for Begin( Like you said, not perfect, but I bet we see him from here on out if Begin is gone).

Sunny is not a waste of a jersey. He is a guy that is needed if we wish to slow down the likes of Alfredson, Heatly, Spezza, Havlat.

Playoff depth and that's about it.  Sunny is on his way out, he knows it, and is playing like it.

Sunny is a nobody...... What ever happened to him when he was with the sharks his like 20+ goals a season ..... Montreal ruined his offense just like they did Bonk somehow lol. I watched the game on RDS. Demers after the first period was really putting it on Sunny, saying to go home if you can't wear the jersey and give 100%, where's the respect, I agree. Although he had an ok game.

Sundstrom had 2 goals in 47 games for San Jose when he was traded. His offense was already pretty much gone. lol. lmfao.
